Quality Assurance Manager

The ideal candidate would: 

    -Have 2-10 years experience in quality control and/or welding with a manufacturer of prefabricated piping products,   including pipe spools, skids & modules, heater coils and/or pressure vessels.

    -Be familiar with ASME B31.3, ASME B31.1, ASME I,  and ASME VIII construction codes relating to materials, fabrication and welding procedures required for pipe spools and pressure vessels.

    -Be familiar with coordinating and interpretation of Non-Destructive Examination of pressure welds. 

Duties include: 

    -Review of materials to ensure compliance with codes and specifications, including visual and MTR review.

    -Interpretation of code and client Welding, NDE, Hydro and other post welding specifications and communication with all company departments to insure compliance.

    -Inspection of shop welding operations.

    -Coordinate and review Subcontractor performance on various pre & post weld operations including Local Preheat Processes, Stress Relief, Coating, NDE, etc.

    -Maintain and ensure compliance of procedures and practices with the company QA/QC Program including Welding Procedure Specifications and Procedure Qualification Records, Non-Conformance Reports, Repair Logs, Consumable Control and Storage Practices, Development of Repair Procedures, Equipment Calibration Records, etc.

    -Leading the Nardei team during QA audits by outside third parties including ABSA & ASME reviews.

    -Maintaining daily contact with client inspectors.

    -Participate in the maintenance and ensure compliance of Nardei Fabricators Ltd.’s Safety Program.
