Nardei's concluded the successful Shell Athabasca Oil Sands Downstream Project by receiving the "Vendor Excellence Award" for consistently meeting Shell's highest standards of Vendor performance. Not only were production targets met, but rework rates were very low. 

Nardei fabricated over 450,000 diameter inches of piping for the Shell AOSD Project.

Of this, 280,000 Diameter inches of pipe fabrication were produced in 2001!

This included carbon steel, stainless steel and chrome -moly materials in sizes from 1/2 inch to 72 inch.

The Nardei name has been synonymous with pipe fabrication for over 35 years.

Our experience shows in systems designed to fabricate pipe spools in an organized and efficient manner. Nardei's fabrication facility boasts some of the highest piping productivity figures in Canada. Coupled with low rework rates, this translates into reliable production forecasts at a competitive installed cost.

Nardei is able to achieve these results using well trained UA tradesmen and women, experienced management, knowledgeable technical and administrative staff, and the latest in welding technology, including the Rotoweld 2000 GMAW workstation. In fact most of the shop qualified members of UA local 496 have been trained in Nardei facilities.
